Thad Allender airs the bowl at the Powhatan Skatepark in Arlington, Va.

I ride the Powhatan Skatepark in Arlington, Va. every Sunday.  I love this place.  Bruno Vicentin snagged my camera and shot this pic of me carving a table in the bowl.  Thanks Bruno!

Skateboarder at Bridgespot Skatepark

I had a good day riding at the Bridgespot make-shift skatepark south of the U.S. Capitol underneath the 395 overpass, despite the windy and chilly 40-degree weather.  The light breaks through nearby buildings from 4:00 to 4:15 p.m, bathing the concrete pillars in warm light and dark shadows.
